Just received this thank you in my email today & wanted to share it. Some personal information was withheld for privacy concerns.

Pat, and all,
I was amazed that I got 6 c.y. on a Saturday at my house. Although we have poured many thousands of c.y. for projects I have been on, ya'll still hold true to what I tell everyone asking about a concrete vendor. USE DORSETT BROS. You are #1 with me.

Dorsett Bros. Concrete is proud to be the Concrete supplier for the new Galveston Causeway Project with Traylor Bros. Much thought went into the capability of supplying this material. The result, a very well thought out complete central-mix plant erected on a Traylor Bros. Barge. The above upper photo shows the complete plant. The construction of the plant on the barge took two months to complete. The following is a break-down of the plant:

(1) A Vince Hagan Batch Plant with a 10 yard Horizontal Mixer
(2) A 600 Linkbelt Modified Excavator with a 2 1/2 yard hydraulic claim bucket used for transferring material to the plant.
(3) A complete pump and boom that can extend tall enough and far enough, to supply concrete to all required areas.
(4) A 550 1000 Amp Genset Generator supplies all the power to make the plant fully functional.
(5) Admix tanks and also a water chiller for temperature controlled concrete

The above lower photo is of barges that are capable of bringing all materials needed directly to the plant. This enables the plant to stay in position without having to re-dock for material supply.
